EMERGEANDSEE returns to Budapest for the 3rd time, and
it's even bigger and better! We are proudly
presenting student short films by upcoming young
talents of the future in moving image. You could not
see such a show anywhere else, but from EMERGEANDSEE.
it's a must-see. The festival consists of four
showreels, featuring two showreels each night. The
filmmakers are from UK, Germany, Hungary, Austria,
France, Israel, Ireland, Finland and Canada, all very
much mixed up and international.

There is even more. We are inviting our audience to
vote for the best film from each showreel. Come and
be the judge! And you could enjoy free drink after
the show while you wait for the vote counting.

Submit your short films which you have made recently.
We look for innovative, cutting-edge, unique work.
Our next deadline is 28th of February. This
submission will be screened in the April Budapest show

Call for Entry for Site-specific Installation work at
Trafó:

Also, in Budapest, we seek for students, who want to
do site- specific installation work at Trafo
Művészetek Háza during the EMERGEANDSEE show.
 
Method of Application: Write a sketch of your proposed
installation, clearly explaining the site, material
used, and how to be installed. This should include
diagram or visual explanation. Please use A4 sheet.
Submit it to: Hana Yamazaki, Dobó Katica u.71 1192,
BP. We will select with the Trafo staff. Though
English is appreciated, Hungarian written proposal is
also accepted. 4-5 ideas will be chosen among the
submissions. The selected ideas will receive small
sum of money for the material cost of the
installation. Please indicate your name, school,
course, email address and telephone number. Deadline
for this is 19th of March. If you have more questions
