3rd Screen & Sound Festival competition

On 20th May 2015 we have begun 3rd edition of the competition organized as a part of Screen & Sound Fest. – Let’s see the music. We kindly ask you to pass to your listeners the following information about the competition.

Screen & Sound Fest. - Let`s see the music is an international open competition for creating film visualizations for pieces of music. The willing participants can register themselves for the competition on the website www.sreenandsound.pl and download the musical compositions that are the canvas of this year competition. The participants can choose from music written by Polish composers Bartosz Chajdecki, Adrian Konarski, Zygmunt Konieczny, Leszek Możdżer, Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz and Michał Woźniak. The proposed musical compositions vary in terms of genre, mood and instruments. The entries can be submitted in any chosen technique: animation, visualization, film – the only limit is imagination.

We await the entries until August 25^th, 2015.

Competition finale will take place in October and the prizes are financial, with its estimated envelope being 20 000 PLN ( 8 000 USD).

The Jury for this year's edition consists of outstanding experts, respected internationally: Jerzy Kucia, professor of Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Mikołaj Valencia, expert in visual effects, Janusz Bielecki, composer and originator of the Festival and Bogusław Skowronek, film and culture expert, lecturer of Pedagogical University in Kraków.
