Nemzetközi kiállítás a Kunstpodium T Apprentice/Master programjának keretében.

Ébredtél már fel úgy egy idegen városban, hogy egy pillanatig azt sem tudtad hol vagy? Öt művész Budapestre utazik és találkoznak egy hatodikkal, azért hogy kiderüljön, milyen hatást gyakorol a környezetváltozás munkáikra.
Ebből az alapszituációból kiindulva foglalkoznak a tér, pozícionálás, turizmus, köztér, otthonosság fogalmaival valamint, ezek kapcsolódási lehetőségeivel. A kimenetel nincs előre meghatározva, végül is, nem az úticél, hanem maga az út az, ami számít.

Az Apprentice/Master projekt különböző európai művészeti egyetemek tehetséges diplomázó (BA vagy MA) hallgatóit a munkásságukban fellelhető kapcsolódási pontok alapján párosítja elismert képzőművészekkel. A projekt során 3-4 “tanonc” a “mesterükkel” együtt dolgozva hoz létre egy közös kiállítást.

About Apprentice/Master:
The project matches talented graduating fine art students (BA or MA) from different art schools in Europe to renowned contemporary artists who connect with the work of the apprentices. During the project, groups of three to four apprentices work together and exhibit along with their master artist.

About U Turn:
Have you ever woken up in a strange city and for a split second you didn’t know where you were? Five artists travel together to Budapest and meet the sixth there to let the environment influence their work. There they will explore thoughts on place, positioning, tourism, public space, the feeling of home, and their own interconnectivity. The outcome is not fixed yet; after all, it’s not the destination, but the journey what matters.
