11 IN OUT FESTIVAL 2017 word/image

This year we invite artists to take part in open, international contest for the best: video works, experiments, documents with the theme: word/image. The contests is directed at visual and film artists over 18. Deadline for applications with legibly filled with attachments is the 27th of March 2017.

Awards:
– First prize in amount of 5000 PLN funded by the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk
– Second prize in amount of 4 000 PLN funded by the LAZNIA CCA
In addition to the prize money will be awarded honorable mentions. The best video works will be released on DVD.

Duration of the video: from 1 to 20 minutes.
The work should not be older than 3 years.

The contest has two stages, during the first one, until 10th of April 2017 the jury will choose 20 artists whose works would qualify to the second stage and those will be presented during the reviews at LAZNIA CCA. Artists will be invited to the contest in Gdańsk.

In Out Festival is a cyclic project of Centre for Contemporary Art, organized since 2005. As part of the festival will be held film, documentaries screenings and lectures.
