Larnaca Biennale 2020 Press Release

Larnaca Biennale had its first edition in 2018. With more than 18000 visitors at the main exhibition and more than 4000 spectators attending the parallel events, Larnaca Biennale is the biggest and most popular International arts event in Cyprus!
Next edition will take place from the 14th of October until 27th of November 2020. In this edition the open call for artists will be under the theme ''Limitless limits'' conceived by Curator Vassilis Vassiliades.

International Jury committee members are: Curator and art critic Jean Blanchaert from Milan Italy, Florence Biennale Chief curator and art scholar Dr Melanie Zefferino, Katina Kosta President of Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts and Kikis Patsalos, Sculptor. 

In addition to the main exhibition, the Biennial will host a series of artistic and culture events, such as concerts, theater, performances, lectures etc.

Co-organizer is ARTION Cultural Association of Larnaca. Supporter of the Biennial is the Municipality of Larnaca and a number of art organizations and institutions including, ”The Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts, E.KA.TE” and ‘’WAVA, World Association of Visual Arts’’.
