Course requirements: Attending the classes and completing the drawing exercises are mandatory.
Method of evaluation of course work: Continuous evaluation of drawings prepared during the year, supervision, consultation.
Marking method: Evaluation of drawings prepared during the year.
Exam requirements : Attending lectures, having an adequate number of drawings.
Teaching methods: Lectures, completion of in-class drawing exercises (aids: models, preparations, still life objects, geometrical bodies), consultation.
Recommended study methods: Acquiring adequate knowledge and skill of anatomy and spatial representation with the help of conscious, analytical drawings. In parallel with the practical work, the continuous development and deepening of theoretical knowledge with the help of the lectures and assigned reading. Individual research.
Number of assignments the student is required to complete through individual work:
5-6 drawings or sketches per week.

Role of the course within the specialist training scheme: Analytical-type drawing exercises help in spatial orientation and the designing of art work. As the professional skills and qualifications of admitted students are varied, the morning drawing classes offer an opportunity for making up for insufficiencies and catching up. The facilities and supplies of the Department provide the means for preparing special drawing exercises, which would not be possible in other studios of the University.
Course description, major area of study (per semester):
During studio practice the students undertake rational-type drawing exercises which are connected to the exercises of Artistic Anatomy, Spatial Projection and Geometry classes.
Each week different set-ups provide students with the opportunity to the review drawing exercises, which are associated with these courses. For students who are less prepared, there is a possibility for completing makeup exercises. In addition, continues figure drawing possibilities (models) are continuously available.
