Work, Fire and Civil Protection

Course description, major areas of study (per semester):
1) Basic studies
The aim of the course is to educate students in the matters of work safety (work and fire protection), security and property protection as related to their artistic and professional training scheme and the University?s basic training program. Teaching focus and discipline to students is also part of the objective.
2) Training related theory of work safety
The fundamental system of theoretical work safety principles as related to basic training:
Work safety exercises as prescribed by laws, by departmental orders of the ministry and bodies of national jurisdiction in technical standards and directives, as applicable to the University. The material consists of work safety principles as determined by the University?s internal regulations.
3) Training-related work safety and fire protection practice
The system of basic training-related work safety practice consists of two parts:
a) General principles for all University departments:
work safety requirements related to the establishment and use of buildings and studios; work safety system relating to the operation and use of electronic equipment; work safety requirements relating to technological equipment, machines and manual tools; work safety requirements relating to use of materials and tools; fire and work protection inspection during work phases. Behavioural guide in case of extraordinary events and emergencies.
b)Work safety requirements as relating to the specific activities of each academic department:
materials, equipments and tools related to sculpture,
materials, equipments and tools related to painting,
materials, equipments and tools related to conservation,
materials, equipments and tools related graphic work,
practical work safety requirements related to scenography,
practical work safety requirements related to intermedia.
