Course description:
The objectives of this fundamental professional course include: acquiring the skills and methods of the profession, familiarisation with the creative process of stage and costume design. Student develop their own, individual artistic view and way of thinking. The course aims to educate scenographers who are able to work as equal members in creative communities in film, theatre, television or puppetry, and yet have something unique and personal to contribute.
In the first 6 semesters, the students learn the basics of the profession, incorporating technical and fine art elements, as well as the details of comprehensive teamwork.
In the 7th and 8th semesters, emphasis is placed on creative artwork.
In the 9th and 10th semesters, the focus is on participation in theatre work and the completion of the diploma work.

The widest range of fine arts sources from the areas of costume, history of apparel, study of materials and fashion. All books and periodicals. Theatre visits, film viewing, etc.
