Course description:
The examination of ancient works of art, artists, art communities, commissioning and consumer circles in the context of exploration-analysis-diagnosis-interpretation. Through the examination of - and preparation of presentations on - works of art in part chosen by the students, they can analyse the main factors involved in the preparation for publication of material from professional and popular literature as well as materials of their own choice. I will propose Ancient Egyptian work as the primary topic of exploration.
