Course description:
The topic of the course is museology, the history of artefact collection, Museums of Hungary.
The objective of the course is to provide students with an overview of object collections, museum relics, and the organisation and operating regulations of museums, which fit into the larger framework of the unified system of the protection of national cultural heritage. In addition to theoretical training, students learn about the workings and operation of museums by way of museum fieldwork practice.
