Role of the course within the specialist training scheme: To provide students with the highest standard of knowledge and skill in sculpture, which, after finishing their studies, will make it possible for them to do sculptural work in full possession of their plastic skills and capacity for self-expression.
Course description, major areas of study (per semester): The objective of sculpture training (basic and specialist training) is to introduce students to those rules of basic thinking in sculpture which can be taught and to help students develop artistic expression. The work is based on individual inventions and builds on different genre variations, with the assistance of the course-leading tutor.
