Course description:
The history of apparel comprises the history of clothing, attire, the history of fashion, of costumes, and the history of hairstyles and accessories. In a separate elective the course covers the history of underwear and religious wear, uniforms and traditional dress. In the course of a slide projection lecture series, specific topics are explored with the participation of specialists. The course follows the semester scheme of the design assignments.
