Artefact Analysis Seminar I : Renaissance - Dr Ildikó Fehér ?semester 3 - 2 class sessions per week
The objective of each session is to undertake a complex analysis of renaissance art works from Hungary and the world (iconography, stlystics, attribution, composition, later interpretations, their influence and technique, etc.). In this way students have the opportunity to not only gain an in-depth understanding of the chosen artefact (building, sculpture, painting), but also to examine the trends of the period through a specific example, and to clarify the circumstances of the creation of that artefact. The lecture presentation of the chosen work is followed by a shared discussion. Artefact analysis is performed by the professor in the first half of the semester, and by the students in the second half - based on prescribed bibliography.

Artefact Analysis Seminar II : Baroque- Dr Ildikó Fehér ?semester 4- 2 class sessions per week

The lecture presentation of the chosen work is followed by a shared discussion. Artefact analysis is performed by the professor in the first half of the semester, and by the students in the second half - based on prescribed bibliography.
