Course description, major areas of study (per semester):
In this course, students gain insight into the local and international art scene. They familiarise themselves with the fundamental theoretical and practical problems, and produce works. During their studies, students develop a working relationship with their professor. Following the first-year remedial course, students are free to choose the professor they wish to work with, in view of the particular artistic programs carried on in the given classes. In a series of consultations, the professors give individual assignments, which help students develop their own visual idiom. The professor who leads the class gives new assignments based on the individual student?s interests, performance and previous works. The final year is devoted to the preparation of the diploma work and the thesis.
